Hoo Ha Ride Glide | Anti-chafing Skin and Chamois Cream

This was great for horseback riding. Smells pleasant.

So far it's the best and easiest to use in a product of this nature. I have very sensitive skin which is easily chaffed and irritated. This product is a protective and soothing cream/ lotion easily applied. I use it also on the waistband of my bike shorts. Today I was in a hurry to get dressed to go out and after showering I smoothed some on my itchy arms, legs, and back and it was great. Here's to longer rides and less pain and discomfort.

I'm 5/2", 220 lbs. After losing more than 100 lbs I have an apron belly. I initially purchased this to help prevent chafing on bike rides, but now I also use it if I'm going to be doing a lot of walking in a day. I'm happy to say I haven't had to deal with chafing since I started using it. It's delivers everything the description says it does - smells great, protects my skin, and lasts all day. I only wish it came in a travel size!

Arrived quickly. Used it on my last run. It does what it says it will.

This is the best for riding bikes! It does not have that tingly, uncomfortable sensation but protects and does what it is supposed to do.

For you senior ladies that get irritated- my derm told me no soap in this area or very mild soap and powderNo powder!!! TMI but trying to be helpful!Wash and use this amazing cream every time I go - you just need a little and it lasts!!!No more problems!!!After exercising and my bike riding - no more problems!!! The best product and I tried tons but this works!!!

Ten stars! I'm a road cyclist and will not ride without my Hoo Ha Glide Ride. It's great on me and on the chamois. Smells good, feels good (cooling), works great! I apply before leaving the house, re-apply after 35 miles and am good to go for the next 35. The small packets are perfect for on-the-road use. So glad to see it's back on Amazon!

Oh boy. I'd been to my internal med doctor twice - and once to my dermatologist - to try to figure out what my 'issue' was. I'll do 15 - 30 mile bike rides a few times a week. If I came back and didn't change quickly out of my shorts, I'd usually end up with some painful areas in some very private places. It felt like my skin was actually torn. OUCH!!! I tried several creams - including prescription - and the results were hit or miss. I finally did enough google searches to learn about saddle sores - and this cream was mentioned several times. Unbelievable how well it works! The first time I used it I was able to complete my ride without any pain. After almost a year of the (very small but very annoying) sores, I've not had any since I started using the HHRG cream. The tube is large and I only need a small dollop about the size of a dime and I'm set for the ride. And I'm so exited to be able to share the diagnosis - and cure- when I see my doctors again! Highly highly highly recommend.

I got this by recommendation for chafing I was experiencing on my endurance horse rides. My thighs and caves would just be raw after the first day and I was miserable. I started using this and never had an issue again. I even had to ride 5 hours in the rain at a good clip and I still didn't get sore or chafed, not even a rash. I really thought I would need to put it on more than once a day, but some how it lasts, even through sweat, rain, jeans, or leggings. I'm impressed!

Being a male, I may not be Hoo Haa's target audience, but wanted to let other men know they should consider this chammy cream. I have averaged about 200 mpw over the last 30 years. During that time, I have had a constant battle with saddle sores. I have had a wide variety of bib shorts and chammy creams, but I continued to have issues. I am now on my 4th tube of Hoo Haa glide and I have not had a saddle sore in months. I have no idea what they do differently than the other creams, but I know it works for me. Thanks so much for a superior product.

Now that I've used more than one brand of chamois cream, I feel ready to proclaim the winner in my unofficial Chamois Cream Test Challenge. Hoo Ha Ride Glide smells nice, works great, and washes off easily. I use it on every ride, even short ones. I ran out and had to try a different brand. That made me realize how good this is. The texture is slightly "runny," but barely. It spreads easily and completely (apply to body AND chamois). I love the herbal smell. Fresh and invigorating.Now here's the part that might be a little more controversial. It has tea tree, peppermint and eucalyptus oils, so it has a cooling sensation when applied. This usually subsides in awhile, but if your skin is already sensitive from a previous ride, it can be a bit more noticeable. Be sure to wash your hands after applying it because you don't want to inadvertently rub your eyes and get it in there!On rides, it works great. I'm going to make sure to stock up so I don't run out again. I highly recommend this product.

This has been my go-to for several years. I'm a cyclist and often ride 25-40 miles a couple times a week. It helps to have a product to act as a buffer between my skin and padded cycling shorts. Apply generously for the best results. It has a mint scent and a slight cooling tingly sensation. I also purchase the smaller to-go pouches for touch up application when needed on longer rides. Highly recommend!

Went for an hour ride and was able to tolerate the cream on an open saddle sore.My initial thoughts are:-I can tolerate this cream on an open saddle sore that is small (YES!)-HHRG gives me a sense of cooling effect! (I am feeling fresh during and after my hour ride!)-I like the faint fresh scent!And most importantly....-The open saddle sore was not as inflamed-The open saddle sore was not as sensitive during and after the ride-The open saddle sore dried out within a couple of hours after I showered (I immediately took a warm water soak with Epsom salt, then showered)-The other saddle sore (that is not open) had very little inflammation and went down after I showered

I really do love this stuff. It has the consistency of a regular lotion and goes on easily. It has a nice scent of mostly peppermint and lavender. It has a distinct cooling effect that I personally like a lot, due to the peppermint and menthyl lactate, but that I have read is too harsh for some other reviewers. I have not had a problem with this and find it to be one of the reasons I really like this cream over other chamois creams. I also like that this cream has so many herbal extracts and essential oils used for calming skin and fighting bacteria and fungus. I not only use this cream for bike riding, but also to help before and after horseback riding. When using this product, a little goes a long way, so an 8 oz tube has lasted me over a year with occasional use, and several months with use several times a week. I definitely recommend this product.

I'd give it ten stars if I could. My daughter and I used it daily on a fully-loaded cross-country bike tour this past summer, averaging 55 miles per day. That's 86 day ladies, with liberal application by both of us. Some days we rode more than 80 miles. Hot days, rainy days, cold days. I've had saddle sore issues and girlie parts soreness in the past, but not with Hoo Ha Ride Glide. It literally saved our butts on our cross-country ride. I've tried most of the other saddle cremes out there (Assos, Udderly Smooth, Chamois Butt'r etc.) and Ride Glide is by far my favorite. As for those who say that it burns, I can only think that those people are unusually sensitive. To me, Ride Glide has a pleasant cooling sensation like minty fresh gum (not that I apply gum to my nether regions). And it can be applied to one's girliest parts ("external use only"). I can see how it might be a little surprising the first time, but please don't think its dangerous or anything. My only suggestion is to make it available in smaller tubes. One tube lasted two of us three months worth of daily use. Maybe people would try it if they could buy a smaller tube. Highly highly recommended.

I ride horses and sometimes the 'lady parts' get irritated. I recalled a story in an edition of Horse Country from about two years ago where the writer, a woman, was traveling through Virginia with her two horses and hunting with different hunts - at one lodge where she was staying, she found the small packets of this cream and wrote a few lines about it. In desperation, I went to the 'net to find out if it was a real product and it was. I tried it, I liked it. Why my local tack shop doesn't carry it, no idea. I did read most of the product reviews and while I did not have a reaction to it, it may be better to purchase the smaller size first. Plan to use this cream when I ride my horse and when the weather permits, riding my bicycle.
